Bradford and Bowling

BRADFORD
I am in Colo. Springs staying at the Bradford Home Suites. They have internet access. They have free - high speed - internet access! Therefore, I CAN BLOG! And chat on MSN and all kinds of shitty shit like that. Not that I really needed the internet, I am only here for a day. But as someone who now carries potential internet access wherever he goes, this is a cool thing. Did I mention it was FREE?!
BOWLING
I just wanted to take a moment and let the whole rest of the world know how very incredibly proud I am of my bowling team. That would be DREW, JIM, BRYSKI, and ME. (That is the order we bowl in.) Last night, they decided, with no prompting from me, that we should work to be known as the most FUN team to bowl with. We clap for the other people when they do good. We feel sorry for the other teams when they do bad. We are there to have FUN!
This is especially touching to me, becuase I have found that you never really know what kind of competitors your friends can be until you get them into a competitive situation. I was always raised with the ideals of camaraderie and sportsmanship and fair play, but I know not everyone else has been. It is unbelievably nice to be able to enjoy my Friday nights with a group of people who can be serious about their bowling, have fun, and be nice to the opposition.
FRIDAY NIGHTS ARE GOING TO BE FANTASTIC!
Did I mention the two + pitures of alcohol Jim, Bryski and I are probably going to injest every week? The only down side to this whole experience is that Drew isn't old enough to drink. Oh well, we still love him. :)
